On February 27, 2025, the Engineering Crane Branch of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) organized a review meeting in our city for the group standard JH-2024-018 "Slewing Bearings for Mobile Cranes". Representatives from the Association, research institutes, users, slewing bearing and main engine manufacturers, review experts, and members of the standard drafting group attended the meeting, which was hosted by our company.
Li Jianyou, Vice President of the Association and Deputy Director of the Expert Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Li Jianyou offered six specific guidelines and requirements for this group standards meeting, based on the guidance of national strategies for standardization work, the requirements of national ministries and commissions for standardization work, and the Association's new ideas for group standards work.
Zhang Jian, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Engineering Crane Branch, explained the requirements of this group standard review meeting, introduced the seven review experts invited to the meeting and the experts from the participating drafting units, and unanimously elected Qi Jun, Honorary President of the Association and Director of the Expert Committee, as the head of the review group. Song Jinyun, Director of the Standards and Regulations Department of the Association, introduced relevant national policy documents on group standards, the main achievements of the Association's current group standard work, and the six aspects that the Association's group standards focus on, emphasizing the need to strictly follow the standardized procedures for national and Association group standards in the standard-setting process.
At the meeting, our company, as the lead drafting unit, introduced the drafting approach, work process, and main content of the group standard "Slewing Bearings for Mobile Cranes" (draft for review). The participating experts reviewed the group standard chapter by chapter and clause by clause, producing a summary table of review opinions and meeting minutes. This group standard complies with relevant national laws and regulations and industry development policies, and is consistent with existing national standards. The standard's development is beneficial to the technological development and application of engineering cranes, filling a gap in similar industry standards. The participating experts unanimously agreed that the draft group standard passed the review and recommended that the drafting team revise it according to the experts' suggestions and submit it for approval as soon as possible. The meeting was a complete success. After the meeting, the participating representatives visited our company and received unanimous praise.
